Student Observation/ Consultation
If you or your child’s school has concerns regarding behaviors or developmental concerns in the school setting, we offer an observation and consultation services.
A BCBA will observe the child in the school setting. The observation will yield a brief behavioral summary that includes: target behaviors, baseline data, functions of behavior, positive behavioral supports, potential FBA recommendation, placement recommendations, and/or necessary accommodations for the child (e.g., token economy, functional communication, environmental arrangements, access to a modified break schedule, prompting through specific activities, etc.).
We can meet with parents, school administrations, and teachers to discuss the observation summary. Moving forward we can offer staff training or school support program.
School Support Program (1:1 Support)
Our school support program are designed to bring therapy directly to your child in the classroom settings. We work directly with the school administration and teacher to determine the level of support needed based on your child’s individual needs. School support is often called a “school shadow” with the idea that a RBT will shadow your child at school and intervene when needed.
Your team is composed of a BCBA and RBT. The RBT will implement a personalized treatment plan created by a BCBA. During school sessions, we focus on:
Behavior Management – Identifying triggers for challenging behaviors and teaching appropriate alternatives.
Classroom Routines & Transitions – Helping your child follow schedules, transition smoothly, and complete tasks independently.
Social Skills & Peer Interactions – Teaching turn-taking, cooperation, and appropriate ways to engage with classmates.
Communication Support – Encouraging functional communication through verbal language, signs, or alternative communication systems.
Academic Support & Task Completion – Breaking down tasks, increasing focus, and using reinforcement to improve learning.
Self-Regulation & Coping Skills – Teaching your child how to manage frustration, handle unexpected changes, and use calming strategies.
Teacher Generalization & Staff Training – Providing strategies for school staff to support students with different learning and behavioral needs. The key part of ABA is for your child to generalize their skills to others. We don’t want your child to just take instruction and respond to our RBTs. We want to eventually fade back and allow your child to use their new skills with other staff and teachers.
In the school settings, the BCBA and RBT will still be in communication with the child’s family. You will received daily summaries of your child’s day at school. In addition meetings with BCBA, school staff and parents are encouraged to ensure we are all on the same page and to assess areas of concern or progress.
Families can choose to just have a school support program or they can combine a school support program with our in-home program or parent support program.
Staff Training
We can provide staff-training on a weekly, monthly, or as needed basis for school staff who need additional support or resources to manage problems behaviors that occur in the classroom.
General staff training/consultation of evidence-based behavioral strategies may include: understanding functions of behavior, role-play, how to implement a variety of creative strategies from a student’s behavior support plan, assessing motivation, token-economy, antecedent strategies, consequent strategies, data collection/tracking, and other treatment interventions.
Types of Staff Training:
Outside of school hours: Workshops/Training: 2 hour Basic Behavior Management Workshop.
During school hours: Coaching in the moment during class instruction, group instruction, recess, or other times throughout the school day where we can train staff directly while behaviors are occurring by simultaneously providing immediate support. Parental consent is required.

Individualized Education Evaluation (IEE):
We provide collaborative support for Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) when an outside evaluation is needed due to limited time or resources. Our experienced BCBAs specialize in conducting comprehensive behavior assessments and are committed to providing the extra help and expertise needed.
Bee-Have can be contracted by the school district at the request of either the parent or the school to conduct an IEE evaluation. We support the IEE process by:
Conducting thorough evaluations
Collecting and analyzing data
Performing direct and indirect assessments
Observing the student in various settings
Writing appropriate, individualized goals
Developing Positive Behavior Intervention Plans (PBIPs)
Training staff on intervention strategies
Presenting findings at IEP meetings
Our goal is to ensure that every student has an effective, individualized, and manageable Positive Behavior Intervention Plan that supports their success in the classroom.
Student Placement:
If you feel your child may be incorrectly placed, need additional support in their current classroom, or does not have an IEP, we can provide on-site and in-classroom observations. Following the observation, we provide a brief Behavioral Summary Report outlining:
Your child’s current skill levels and baseline data
Identified target behaviors and developmental goals
Recommended positive behavior supports
Basic behavioral functions and potential need for an FBA
Placement recommendations and necessary accommodations
This report offers practical support without requiring a full assessment, including suggestions like testing modifications, environmental adjustments, modified break schedules, and specific prompting strategies to help your child succeed.
