Who we are

Louise and Kayla worked for an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) company together. Their passion and desire to provide quality and ethical ABA practices lead them to starting Bee-Have. The foundation of Bee-Have is to focus on play-based, child lead, trauma-informed, and neurodiverse-affirming practices.

They have created a community of fun, energetic, creative and passionate BCBAs and RBTs. As a team we create an ABA program to support the individual needs of your child and family. We call this “The Hive”.

The Hive goes beyond a child’s home program. We believe in collaborating across multi-disciplinary therapists (OT, PT & Speech) as well as school support to ensure we provide comprehensive care for your child.

Meet the Hive

  • Amara Castro

    BCBA & Admin Assistant

Hi! My name is Amara Castro, and I have been in the field of ABA for 13 years. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Special Education (APU) and my Master's in Child and Adolescent Development from The Chicago School of Psychology. As a BCBA, I am passionate about staying up to date with the latest ABA research. The field is always evolving, and I strive to grow and adapt right along with it—if I could, I’d still be in school! One of the most important aspects of my work is building trusting relationships with my clients. I truly believe that you can have all the tools to teach new skills, but without trust, you won’t get very far. I love watching children take small steps that lead to big progress as they move toward their greatest potential. Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my husband of 11 years and our three wonderful children. I also enjoy baking sourdough bread, reading the latest books, listening to podcasts, and crafting with my daughter.

  • Jenny Lai

    BCBA

Hi! My name is Jenny, and I have been in the field of ABA for the past 7 years. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Los Angeles, and my Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. One of the things I love most about working in ABA is getting to learn from each child. Every child has their own unique story, and they express it through the way they play. I cherish the opportunity to grow alongside them. I also value working closely with families, as it allows me to understand diverse cultural dynamics and provide support in the most meaningful way. Outside of work, you’ll find me podcasting, enjoying group workouts (currently obsessed with Barre!), and experimenting in the kitchen—juicing and perfecting my chili oil are my latest passions! On a personal note, I’m married and a proud mom to two wonderful boys on the spectrum. We are a neurodiverse family!

I graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a BS in Child and Adolescent Development and am currently working on my MA degree in Special Education (ABA) through Arizona State University. I look forward to this new journey of furthering my education and being one step closer to starting my career as a BCBA! Working in ABA has provided me with the opportunity to not only positively impact the lives of others, but to continue to grow as an individual. I am passionate about teaching through play and allowing children to be the center of their own learning. I love building rapport with families and creating a unique bond with each of my clients. I love a good book and am also a big sports girl, so outside of work you can find me cozied up reading or cheering on my favorite teams!

I love to bring fun and play into sessions! I believe that creative and naturalistic play are the greatest ways to teach skills. I love building connections with my clients and their families and working together as a team! I love nothing more than seeing my friends progress and achieve their individual goals they are working on while having fun! When I’m not dancing in session you’ll find me coaching high school dance, reading, hanging out with family & friends, watching football and traveling to new places!

Hi! My name is Zhuming Wang, and I have been in the field of ABA for over 3 years. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine, with a Bachelor's degree in Psychological Science. One of the most rewarding parts of working in ABA is seeing the progress children make over time. Kids are always fun to play with, and as an RBT, I love helping them grow and thrive through play-based learning. Watching their skills develop and knowing I’ve played a role in their success makes this job so fulfilling. Outside of work, you can usually find me spending time with my three adorable cats, enjoying a good book, swimming, playing videos games or rollerblading.
