Neurodiversity-Affirming Applied Behavior Analysis

Who We Are

"Meet our founders, Louise and Kayla, and learn what sets our ABA practice apart from traditional ABA therapy."

What is ABA?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidenced-based therapy for individuals with autism and related disorders. Utilizing positive reinforcement and individualized strategies, ABA supports learning new skills, communication, adaptive living and social skills while reducing challenging behaviors. Our goal is to empower children and their families by building on their strengths and teaching skills that promote independence and success in everyday life.

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is someone who possesses a graduate-level certification in behavior analysis. A BCBA evaluates the client’s needs, creates individualized treatment plans, and guides therapy to help build important life skills. BCBAs also provide ongoing support to parents and teachers as well as provide supervision to RBTs.

A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a trained paraprofessional who works under the direct supervision of a BCBA. RBTs work directly (1:1) with your child to implement the treatment plan created by a BCBA.
